Cal.com is a preview integration. Availability depends on the deployed catalog and provider configuration. Live agent session initiation remains gated in the documented implementation; saving these resources does not demonstrate a completed booking.

Recording pending: Configure a Cal.com connection and selected tools. Follow the written guide below.
Before you begin
Use a signed-in workspace account with permission to manage connections and tools. Prepare a dedicated Cal.com account or credential with the access required for your scheduling task. Review the provider’s API v2 authentication guidance when creating a key. The current Threetone native workflow uses an API key rather than an interactive OAuth consent flow. Enter the raw key in its dedicated field; the integration prepares the provider authentication header. Keep the key out of prompts, example arguments, recordings, and browser embed code.Create the connection
1
Select the provider
Open Integrations, select Add integration, and find Cal.com. Review the provider details, then open its connection form. If the deployed catalog says connection is unavailable, stop and check that release before continuing.
2
Provide the credential
Review the API Key credential method, enter a useful connection name and the key, then select Connect. Keep the selected provider account separate from unrelated team or customer accounts.
3
Read the connection back
Reopen the saved connection in the list and confirm its identifier, provider, name, and ownership. Check errors or reconnection requirements before creating tools. A displayed Connected badge does not replace inspection of the stored connection state.

Create only the tools you need
Use the integration-tool creation flow in Tools. In Select Integration Tool, choose the eligible connection and select the intended operations. Confirm Create Tools, then inspect the created definitions and identifiers. The reviewed Cal.com operation contracts include availability and booking operations. Review the current operation list and its inputs instead of copying names or parameter shapes from a different release. Start with the smallest useful set. Creating a cancellation or booking tool grants a different capability from creating a read-only availability tool. This flow currently supports eligible personal connections. Shared-connection tool creation is unavailable. An inactive connection or a provider without enabled tool creation is not a valid substitute. Attach the created tool IDs through the agent’s Tools page. Review the prompt, attachment list, and selected branch together, then save a complete server draft. Publication requires an eligible managed text-only configuration; voice and custom-model publication are unavailable. Reopen the draft or eligible published version to confirm the saved references.Prepare a scheduling task
Document the event type, attendee fields, and IANA time zone that the task requires. Distinguish the caller’s requested time from the provider’s returned availability. Define when the user must confirm a booking, cancellation, or rescheduling request. Confirm an external action only after its supported execution path returns a verifiable result. When execution becomes available, test reads first in a controlled provider account. Then test writes, retries, unavailable slots, provider rejection, and an uncertain result before using customer data. Do not infer a booking from successful credential storage.Frequently asked questions
Should I include Bearer in the API Key field?
Should I include Bearer in the API Key field?
Enter the raw key in the native connection form. The catalog’s credential binding adds the authentication header. A separately authored webhook may use a different explicit header configuration.
Why is my connection missing from the tool selector?
Why is my connection missing from the tool selector?
Check that it is active, visible to your workspace account, and supports tool creation. Shared connections are not supported by the reviewed tool-creation path.
Does Connect validate a complete booking workflow?
Does Connect validate a complete booking workflow?
No. Connection storage, provider credential testing, tool creation, and agent execution are separate checks. This guide does not claim a successful live booking.
