Burst capacity is a commercial and operational decision about handling demand above an included allowance. It should state what capacity can increase, which usage is billable, and what happens when a budget or service limit is reached.

Plan the policy

Record the included capacity, maximum approved burst, measurement unit, rate, and billing period. Define whether the system rejects excess demand, places it in a queue, or permits an explicitly authorized overage. These are distinct behaviors; a price table alone does not implement any of them. The planned pricing page contains draft commercial targets. They are not proof of active checkout products, enabled burst capacity, or metered billing. Confirm the approved catalog and agreement before estimating a customer’s bill.

Prepare for launch

Track usage by workspace and the version of the applicable commercial terms. Define warnings and hard-budget behavior, then test concurrency and failure handling separately from billing. Review call queueing and pay as you go as related plans.

Frequently asked questions

No released burst-capacity pricing implementation is established by this documentation. Draft rates must not be treated as an active offer.
Use the approved agreement and released capacity controls. A plan name or saved configuration does not establish additional capacity.
