# Workspaces

> Review your Threetone workspace, update its name, and find members, groups, subscription details, and API keys.

A workspace brings your team's agents, knowledge base, tools, and access settings together. Start by checking the workspace name and owner before changing shared resources or inviting people.

## Before you begin

Sign in to Threetone with a membership in the workspace you want to manage. You need permission to manage workspace settings to change shared settings. Ask a workspace administrator if an action is unavailable to your account.

## Review your workspace

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open workspace settings">
    Open [Workspace](https://threetone.in/app/workspace). On the **General** page, confirm the workspace name and owner match the team you intend to manage.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check access and allocation">
    Review the displayed member permissions, current plan, credit balance, and seat allocation. Use [Members](https://threetone.in/app/workspace/members) to inspect membership and [Groups](https://threetone.in/app/workspace/groups) to review how people are organized.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the administration task">
    Continue to [members and access](/overview/administration/workspaces/members) to invite someone or review sharing. Open [API keys](/overview/administration/workspaces/api-keys) when a server or integration needs programmatic access.
  </Step>
</Steps>

You should now know which workspace you are managing, who owns it, and where to review team access. A displayed setting describes the current value; it does not necessarily have an editable control on the General page.

## Change the workspace name

On [Workspace](https://threetone.in/app/workspace), select **Change workspace name**. Enter a non-empty name of up to 100 characters, then select **Save**. Confirm that the new name appears under Workspace details after the save succeeds.

Choose a name your team can recognize when working across multiple workspaces. Renaming a workspace is separate from changing its members or resource access.

## Find the right settings

| Task | Where to go |
| - | - |
| Review workspace details and allocation | [Workspace > General](https://threetone.in/app/workspace) |
| Invite a person or review their seat | [Workspace > Members](https://threetone.in/app/workspace/members) |
| Organize workspace members into groups | [Workspace > Groups](https://threetone.in/app/workspace/groups) |
| Review your subscription | [Subscriptions](https://threetone.in/app/subscriptions) |
| Create or revoke a personal API key | [Developers > API Keys](https://threetone.in/app/developers/api-keys) |
| Review your personal account settings | [Account settings](https://threetone.in/app/settings) |

Subscription changes require billing-management access. Check the current terms shown in the dashboard before confirming a billing change.

For API access to existing workspace resources, see [Get resource](/api-reference/workspace/get-resource) and [List workspace groups](/api-reference/workspace/list-workspace-groups). The [subscription response](/api-reference/get-user-subscription-info) provides subscription information; personal dashboard settings are not all public API operations.

## Troubleshooting

* **Details do not load:** use **Retry** on the affected section. Confirm that you are signed in and still have access to the workspace.
* **A change is rejected:** check that your account has the required workspace permission. A visible page does not grant permission to change every setting.
* **The wrong team appears:** check the workspace name before continuing. Do not invite people or create integration keys until you are in the intended workspace.
