# Audio and redaction

> Review audio and redaction preferences without assuming recording suppression or PII removal is enforced.

Audio, transcripts, and extracted analysis can contain different copies of the same private information. Review each category independently when deciding what a workflow should retain.

<Warning>
  The current fields store configuration intent. Recording suppression, automatic audio deletion, and transcript or audio redaction are not established enforcement guarantees. The Security editor remains a disabled preview.
</Warning>

All fields below belong to `platform_settings.privacy`.

| Field | Default or accepted shape |
| - | - |
| `record_voice` | true |
| `delete_audio` | false |
| `delete_transcript_and_pii` | false |
| `conversation_history_redaction.enabled` | false |
| `conversation_history_redaction.entities` | A list of supported entity names |

Entity choices include `name`, `email_address`, `contact_number`, and narrower names such as `name.name_given`. Accepted values describe intended targets; they do not prove that a detector removed them.
