# Advanced configuration

> Review event selections, custom model endpoints, model fallback, and post-call notification configuration.

Use these guides when an integration needs configuration beyond the basic prompt, model, and resource references. Review a complete agent version and the external service together.

## Review boundaries

Stored configuration, a successful endpoint probe, configuration publication, and live execution are different results. Current publication supports compatible managed text-only configurations; voice and custom-model publication remain gated in the reviewed implementation.

Use [server drafts](/agents-platform/deploy/versioning) to preserve a complete candidate configuration where publication is unavailable. Keep credential values in supported private storage. Read the draft or version back instead of treating an editor preview as a saved result.
